Clinic Staff //

Cheryl Johnson, DVM| Veterinarian, Owner

Dr. Johnson is an Oklahoma State University (OSU) graduate - GO POKES!!  She Opened Peppertree Veterinary Clinic in 1994 and has been at the same location since.  She also holds a degree in Biological Chemistry.  She enjoys the challenges of diagnostics and general surgery.  She has a passion to educate her clients and teach them about the various conditions as well as emergency actions they can take and how to save money taking care of their pets.  She is not the typical 15 minutes in and out type of doctor, she spends a lot of time with each client and is very active in "show and tell" to the client, for instant she will show them what she finds under the microscope, or feel a crepitation in a joint, show and explain X-ray findings.  Those are only a few examples.  She also works her own emergencies after hours for established clients and does not forward the phones to an all hours emergency clinic or answering service.  She does not practice veterinary medicine because she has to for a living, she does it because she loves the work, challenges and animals she sees.
